Question by JuliaMarie<3: does this sound like ovulation is close or happening? and what are my chances of conceiving?

I have only been experiencing this since I've come off of birth control in september 2010 but more recently in the last 2 months. Since I came off birth control my periods have come every 38days. Last period was on Jan 24th. I've been experiencing and am at this moment currently experiencing a very, wet, clear discharge which has been going on since Friday the 4th. Also I've noticed that a few times when I wiped I would have like a glob of clear snot like mucus on the toilet paper that was really long and stretchy. Does this sound like ovulation is near? This happens as if I had a 28 day cycle and around what would be ovulation? It also happened like this last month. If this does mean ovulation is near and I had unprotected sex on the 5th, what are my chances of conceiving?

Most couples have about a 1 in 4 or 25% chance of conceiving from sex at or close to ovulation.
